Just to even the score this is probably the best thing to happen in music this year. Steve Perry-Traces has solidified the return of one of rocks greatest singers and gives us another album of amazing songwriting. A lot of what’s on Traces is very much a reflection of Perry’s loss and love of former girlfriend but this has plenty of upbeat tunes as well. Recommended.
