This is a great book that chronicles that very special game. The author presents the perspectives of a wide variety of persons involved in the game or touched by the game. Some misstatement of facts, however, are annoying to avid Pirates' and Yankees' fans (i.e., referring to Yogi as a right-handed batter twice, referring to John Blanchard as a right-handed batter, stating that Early Wynn pitched for the Yankees in the 50's, referring to Bobby Del Greco as a pitcher, stating that Bobby Richardson's triple was the 75th of the series). Overall, a great book.
Great story about David VS. Goliath and baseball when it was still more of a game than a business. Well written and easy to read.
