We already had this game and the grandkids love to play it so we thought we would buy one for them to take home. When it came the box was in terrible shape and had an odor. The parts for the game were fine so we kept it. Our game is 4 years old and the box is perfect so I had to put their part into our box because there was no way I was going to give them something in a box like that. The game is a lot of fun and this was the only one I found because it is an old game.

The kids seem to play with them, we got them because we throw shoes after work and as an American wholesome family. The shoes are safely built while being able to stand kids pulling and pitching. The stakes are flimsy but child-safe. Another good thing is the colors are easy to see before we cut the lawn...

Too light. If you throw them as you would real horseshoes, the air catches them like a poorly built paper airplane. They definitely cant go 37' and even as close as 15 feet they drift. The only way they get to the other post is by throwing them like a frisbee; not good form for horseshoes. They need to be weighted heavier. Would not buy again and will not use, even for kids.
