Upon first hearing this group, and the first song, of which I hear sometimes on the radio, I was under the impression that Cindi Lauper was the lead female singer. Of the groups that have been around or have now disappeared, there is a longing desire to have them impaled onto a compact disc, and thereby have everlasting copy's just waiting to have the dust cleaned off the jewel case and brought out to see the sun. I'm not sure what group of music fans they have encapsulated into their folds, but it likes having something to appease the gods of music, in order for them to survive this long. Having read the liner jacket to find out how this was made, it gives a brief description, of the different types of recordings, from AAD to DDD. I see this particular recording was made in the AAD version, and then transferred. I suppose this is the cheapest way to do this, but not sure. I would imagine if this was the Rolling stones it would have been done lots better. I listened to the dc via a Panasonic CD player without headphones and only played the first three songs. Then I put the headphones on and listened to three more. Of course, there was at least a 180 degree turnaround in sound comparison, and I could really visualize the triangle sound coming from one side of the ear, and that in itself is quite good. I rate the sound quality as B+ to an A.Read full review

Is a nice 15 tracks collection, including Mental Hopscotch and Give but there are significant ups and downs in the quality of sound among these songs. Otherwise, it is a very nice music CD to throw in the vehicle!

Missing Persons is an excellent example of 80's Newwave music. This disc has 15 of Missing Persons best. Most other "Best of" CD's only have 10 songs. With radio favorites like "Words", "Mental Hopscotch", "Walking in LA", a cover of The Doors-"Hello, I love you",the quirky "I Like Boys", and many more. Missing Persons etched a place in music history. Plus the original albums (or should I say CD's) are hard to come by. So if you are a Missing Persons fan, newcomer or just want to find some classic new wave music. You won't go wrong here.
