What can I say? Roger Whittaker is simply the best male vocalist. His voice is warm and full like a well-played cello, with a timber and range not found in many modern day artists. His work is always lyrical; often soothing and inspirational, and sometimes just downright fun. It's so very hard to get some of his classic albums on CD that I've learned how to rip lps to my computer. This album has a few of the old classics like 'Last Farewell', and 'New World in the Morning'; his whistling ability is astounding as always in 'Mexican Whistler', and his voice soars in a heartfelt 'High', a song about ballooning over his native Kenya. 'All of My Life' is a nice collection, with a good range of self-penned titles and Roger's special take on some old standards. Definitely a good buy. But then, if it's Roger, it's always worth it.Read full review
