This item is an exact copy of the Australian Defence Force “Field Ration Eating Device” with some modifications. I have to admit. It is actually pretty decent. The only difference is added fork style tip, the material is actually of good quality. The ONLY thing that I can point out that is not good, is that the can opener function will loosely swing into an open position. Other then that, it is actually a decent item to carry in a camping, emergency bag. Highly recommend this over other FRED clones and as much as I don’t want to say it, over the Australian Army version (Which is no longer produced, but still available to find). Just that darn loose can opener.
