This book has been awesome so far. Hudson outlines his philosophies very well in this book, jam packed with examples and reasoning. While the content is heavy (good deal of jargon, textbook feel), if you are semi familiar with distance training principles, you should be fine. Definitely going to incorporate a good deal of his training into my next cycle. Nothing groundbreaking, but a refreshing look at distance training as being adaptive. Would recommend!

It's a very useful and complete book to make a better run training. This book tells you how your running train must be. Does not tell you how you must run itself, if you already know how to run (balance, body position, etc) this book will improve in your training. It's quite cheap for what you are buying.
This book breaks things down into specifics without overwhelming you with jargon. This is in the category of Dr. Jack Daniels book and can be used just as effectively. If you want to run faster or coach someone to run faster, then buy this book.I own 40+ running books and this one is easily in the top 5 as far as what I learned from it.
