I do cartooning as a hobby and after everything has been lightly penciled in, I use the PILOT V5 EXCLUSIVELY to ink in the final b/w copy. The "precise" tip makes it easy to fill in ultra small details and, this may sound strange but, it's a well-balanced pen that's easy to hold and work with for extended periods. It just FEELS good. The only drawback I've found is that if you're going to add color to the penned-in work you'll have to use DRY colored pencils because watercolors and other pens (permanent markers or water based) tend to make the Pilot ink blur a bit. Other than that, it's the perfect pen for hobby or daily use as far as I'm concerned. One other thing. Don't lend your PILOT V5 to anyone because if they're not used to the delicate tip they WILL bend it. Carry a BIC with you just in case. Read full review

This is the easiest writing pen I've ever used. I specifically searched for it online, because they can be a little pricey. This is a good price for them.
