Item was sent promptly from the US and was exactly as described. The problem encountered is that the USPS declaration when the item was shipped showed an incorrect value of $899.00. When it should have been approximately $50. As a result the item was held up in Canada Customs for a week and I had to pay $168.24 in taxes and duties to have the item released. I now have stared an appeal process with CBSA to recover this amount

At first, I was disappointed to see that the unit sent had a different item number than the one described. Although my base isn't listed as one of the ones compatible with this unit, the seller assured me that it would work. He was right! It works! However, although usable, the handset received didn't match the rest of my phones. Overall, it was a positive experience dealing with this buyer.

Phone arrived quickly. After installing a new battery, I placed it in its charging cradle for the registering process. When it refused to register, I phoned the number included in the package and spoke to technician Mike. He was quick to determine the solution, that I should place the phone in the charger on the answering machine. He said it should register in a few seconds, which it did. It would be helpful to include this instruction in the package.
