I had an egg poacher insert that looked like this one for year and loved it. It finally bit the dust and I needed a new one. So, I was happy to see that I could find another one for a great price on Ebay. I just need to set in my frying pan, fill the pan with water so it just comes almost level, but a little lower than, the lip of the egg poacher insert. I get the water boiling, put a little butter into however many sections I'll be cooking eggs in, after the butter melts I crack an egg into it, add salt & pepper, put the lid on for 3 minutes and then check to see if my egg is cooked as I like it or need to cook it a little longer. Love a poached egg on buttered toast. YUM!

I was happy to receive an egg poacher that fit into my revere ware pan. But my nice brown eggs ran over in the very shallow cups. Plus the eggs stuck severely to the 'nonstick' surface even if they were greased generously. I was disappointed. I am now using stainless steel cups that came with another cookware set. Those are working great. I thought stainless steel sticks more but was badly mistaken. Those are a heavy weight stainless.

Excellent - use is obvious except, I would recommend an added 1/2 teaspoon of melted butter or a tiny bit of oil in each cup before the egg is deposited. This makes the finished eggs slip out when you run a plastic fork around the edges - very little egg residue remains and cleanup is very easy.

Works very well, perfect poached eggs in three minutes (after water boils). Though not completely "non stick" with a small spray of oil the eggs come right out. So good I bought a second one for a gift.

The one I have, the non-stick coating is coming off. I can't find another. Yours looked the identical, but first time I used it, egg ran over the sides. So if you buy small eggs, and not medium, you will be fine. I need one a bit larger. Sorry.
