This covers the whole valve stem. Some other covers do not cover the wide part at the base.

Not A Universal Solution
This fit with some difficulty(had to force on with a screw driver causing minor damage to the outside/ top edge of the sleeve) on the after-market wheels' valve stems of my G70-unfortunately, I had purchased this set for the after-market wheels' valve stems for my '21 Cx-5. At least they were not a complete waste of money. Not close to fitting the stems/CX-5 which means I wrongfully believed others positive reviews re: seeming universal fit appeal.
