My 10 year old (who is TERRIBLE at anything dealing with money) read this book (multiple times) and has been trying to be more responsible with her money. The only issue I have with the book is it is literally the same edition I had when I was her age. (18 years ago!) So some of the ways to earn money, etc is outdated and not viable options anymore. Honestly they were only slightly viable when I was a kid. Most are not realistic, or at the very minimum things a normal girl can/will/is allowed to do. They are cute ideas, but not things anyone will do. At least profitably or productively. It would be nice if there were actual realistic options listed..

I bought this for my grandaughter. I liked it because, in a fun way it gets her to thinking, atleast in the back of her mind with no pressure, about what she might want to do with her life when she grows up. She is still young and I don't want to put pressure on her to the extent to cause her to loose her childhood. So this is something that was fun. Then I had her write me a report about it and tell me what she learned and liked about the book.
