    Not so sharp, but adequate as a gauge

    I gave it good marks in the yes/no selections but while the range of sizes of pitch were what I wanted, the sharpness of the gauges was poor in the finer pitches. What should be sharply triangular teeth were rounded nubs. But I kept the gauge anyway.

    Excellent gauges make quick work of identifying mystery threads.

    The machining is better than I expected for the price. The metric thread gauges could be a little more clearly marked as such, but other than that I'm thrilled! I was able to identify my mystery thread in two attempts which saved me a ton of aggravation.

    Great thread checker!

    Excellent thread checker. On my first use I was able to measure the threads on some tiny 3-mm screws with 0.5-mm pitch and go buy some longer replacements at Home Depot. It has the most thorough set of thread pitches of any gauge I have ever seen. And it's easy to use.

    Worth the investment

    If you're tired of guessing what the thread count on a screw or bolt is this tool comes in handy...and unless you lose it (which is easy becuase it's small) you'll never have to buy it again. Solid construction easy to read markings. Worth the investment.
