I have sought a Bluetooth device, with which I could hear others, an them hear me as well. With the other headsets I have tried, people kept saying either they could not hear me, or I could not hear them, reliably. I tried another bone conduction device, but the microphone was in the rear, again, I could not be understood. The Aftershokz addressed all of these concerns, and the battery lasts, as well! Unless I’m laying down, they are quite comfortable. My job bans earbuds that cover your eat, but these do not. I can drive with them, and be aware of my surroundings, and hear people talk to me, and answer a different phone, while wearing my Aftershokz OpenComms. They connect at the press of a button, and if they get disconnected, just turn them off, and back on, and voilà! I wish they made them for two way radios as well!Read full review

Having tried some basic Shokz headphones in a BestBuy, I was skeptical these would be any better. However, these being brand new probably helped a lot with fit and fidelity. I'm quite pleased with the audio reproduction of these kinds of headphones. True, the bass quality is quite lacking, but that is expected. I use these headphones for conference calls, and pleasant background music as I go about my day. These were so effortless to wear that I started wearing them all day while going to stores, taking public transportation, and walking around. I absolutely love the open ear design that gives the feeling of having a soundtrack backing your entire life. The battery life is surprisingly good. Unfortunately, the microphone was faulty on this particular unit, but I knew this was a lemon issue because a colleague with the same set had no troubles. Shokz was true to their 2-year warranty and quickly got a replacement in the mail with minimal hassle.Read full review

The sound quality is excellent on this headset. It's comfortable for about 6 hours as long as you don't lean your head back on anything, like a high back chair. The comfort is tolerable from about 6 to 10 hours. After that, it's painful. I purchased this unit because of the high reviews for sound quality, which is true, but I think it would be more comfortable if the loop went over the head instead of behind the head. I do appreciate the fact that I can still hear my surroundings while wearing the headset or still wear hearing protection if needed without having to remove either to take/make a call.

The OpenComm headset is very light, I wear it all day (I wear glasses too) and the battery last the whole day. I have it sync'd to both my laptop and my iPhone. I love the bone conduction headsets. I had the AfterShokz without the boom. Sound is good and I can hear the people and things around me

Super happy with the product. Easy to use and great quality. The battery really last long. I used during a couple of days with consecutive meetings and all went great.
