If your 987/997 porsche inside door handle pops and not return flush, (felt like spring poped)this is the part you need to fix. This appears to be a OEM part. The cable should to be changed too since the hook looks different but you can make it work without changing cable.

Cayman s door handle replacement. Works great.
Worked great as expected. Had to change swap the handle assembly part from the old to the new part to be compatible with the old style cable. I used the replacement plastic part which had snapped and caused the door handle to not spring shut.
