The Aquasana is a great filter. Many municipalities have switched from chlorine which can be detected by odor to an odorless chlorine called monochloramine. The filter that takes this out is a COCONUT fiber filter and the Aquasana has this filtering stage. We use this filter in two ways. First, to shower. Second, to fill up our Berkey water purification unit. So our drinking water essentially sees three filters - Aquasana, Berkey black, Berkey white. Doesn't get much better than this unless you drink mountain water.
