I got this thinking it would be packed full of exercises, routines, diet and meal tips.... in fact there is only one set plan in it that yes, is pretty good and I’m sure if you follow could help. But about 70% of the book is just motivational stories and “I’ve come from here to here” stories. After reading 2 or 3 it was so boring and repetitive. I’d buy a different book if I’d of known this. I have the motivation already hence why I bought the book! I’d say 10-15% of the book was useful.

Id been out of condition for 6yrs after a horrendous spinal injury that paralysed me waist down but worked my 'butt off' and walking again, but lacking confidence to get back into the 'normal' gym again as I have been left permanently disabled. This book pushed me back into 'focus' on getting back even eventually into Body Building again and helped jar my memory of the basics, plus what 'exercises' for which muscle groups, and the plan is keeping me on track when some days I really dont feel like working out due to my spinal pain that I have to use morphine for as it is so bad. I may never look as I did (had been training and body building on and off for a good 20yrs before my accident) but I have to start somewhere. With my life changing accident the devastation id say effected me 50% physical and 50% physiological as im sure it does many others out there and so for me this book really has been a god send and I am being realistic and will expect my body changes to take longer than 'normal' but thats not a problem.
