I needed a combination lock I could use in a dark space. This Master lock fit the bill. You can make the combination (of directional moves) as simple or as complex as needed. I love this lock. One watch out is that you must follow the resetting instructions accurately and carefully. If you miss a step, this lock will be a worthless piece of metal. That being said, the instructions are clear and concise. Lots of color options if you need different locations with unique combinations and also has stickers to customize the lock to identify a particular lock. THIS LOCK IS A REAL WIN

Love these locks. I have TEN of them. Several of them are opened every day. They are sold for INDOOR USE only and I found that to be absolutely correct. I have them on outside sheds and gates and those all froze up within 6 months or so. We have lots of rain here in North Carolina. I think they don't like to get wet. I love being able to unlock them with one hand while carrying something in the other hand. Also in the dark as you don't have to look for numbers of your combination. I have several on outside gates and go through those gates in the dark and sometimes without my glasses on. NO PROBLEM. I would wish that Master Lock will soon come up with a good OUTSIDE APPROVED version of this. It would be a big seller. The colors will fade over time when outdoors too, but who cares? Warning these locks can be figured out and opened! They are also easily worn down and not precise when configuration takes place with 5-6 or variables. Ok for just closing putting away stuff for casual use. Be warned the dial does stick at times so be sure to enter password with care. There is a reason they are so inexpensive.
