Used it to replace a Fasco 7163-9678 motor in a bathroom exhaust fan.
Used it to replace a Fasco 7163-9678 motor in a bathroom exhaust fan. It fit right in and had the correct plug on the end, so it was easy to switch out with the old motor. The only 'complaint' I have is it would be nice if Fasco would include the 2 nuts that are needed to fasten the motor down. I just re-used the old ones, but if you're replacing one of these motors, don't throw the old nuts away, unless you have new ones...Used it to replace a Fasco 7163-9678 motor in a bathroom exhaust fan. It fit right in and had the correct plug on the end, so it was easy to switch out with the old motor. Bought one D1160 replacement motor to retrofit a 25+ year old bathroom exhaust fan that would take a while to turn on. The shipping was quick and price is reasonable. The new replacement motor has been working very well upon installation. The fan noise is a bit loud but it is intrinsic to the blower/fan design.
