Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes I enjoyed more than I enjoy most horror motion pictures. As an Amityville saga film it is probably one of the better ones, though its premise is kind of silly. In spite of the silly "plot idea" it is well filmed and has pretty decent effects and the pacing is very well done and suspenseful. It is somewhat "dated" but that can be a good thing, making one nostalgic for the late 1980s/early 1990s.
I enjoyed watching Patty Duke and Jane Wyett in a role together. Movie very entertaining and well acted.

This excellent made for television movie is frightening with excellent performances throughout. I purchased it because I have always been an ardent follower of the work of Jane Wyatt -- she is outstanding here. The value of the DVD was more than adequate, a good deal for an excellent film.

This made for t.v. movie is not bad overall. Patty Duke and Jane Wyatt give good performances and are the cement that holds this production together. The basic plot is alright if not a bit corny. "A kid thinks a lamp is her father reincarnated?" As for the supporting cast, the children were not attractive at all and probably have found their acting careers over before they started. The actor who played the son has the perfect face for radio. All in all it's not a bad movie and worth a watch if you're an Amityville fan.
good movie and good product
