For a reality check, this is the pump action bottle compared to the tube, so there are different formulas. This formula would appeal to women as it is "softer", in it leaves a residue which makes your skin feel like it has a coating which is soft, compared to the original formula which did not have this quality. This formula does not go as far as the other formula, in the original one a little went a very long way. It though is not as tacky feeling afterwards. None of which is to state that either is better or has drawbacks. The original formula in a tube is industrial strength which is what Norwegians required in that cold raw climate in winter for chapped hands making catching and making lutefisk. This formula is not as heavy duty, but has a feminine quality to it, in being more consumer friendly. It still is though literally 10 times the lotion compared to other brands on the market. The feedback I would give is, if you are like me in being outside in having severely cracked and bleeding hands, then get the original formula in the tube, as that will heal your hands over night. If you have normal dry hands, and would like a more consumer friendly product in making your skin feel soft, then this is the product you would prefer. Nutrogena is the gold standard of hand lotions.Read full review
