This DVD is TNA's "Best of the Bloodiest Brawls Vol. 1," HOWEVER, this is NOT the first DVD released by TNA with this title. Some years back TNA released a DVD with this title that featured matches from the early years of TNA and features many matches between Raven, and the Deciples of the New Church, lead by Father James Mitchell. Now, since you have been equipped with that information I can review THIS DVD, and NOT the original. The matches on this DVD are all good, and they're all bloody, especially Raven's matches. Abyss vs. Monty Brown vs. Raven (Monster's Ball) AMW vs. Triple X (Six Sides of Steel) Jeff Hardy vs. Abyss (Full Metal Mayhem) AJ Styles vs. Abyss (Six Sides of Steel) Raven vs. Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac) (Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match) What can I say about this match. Well if you've ever seen Raven's House of Fun before then you know what to expect. X-Pac works much better than Sandman did in the House of Fun match he had with Raven. The original match was supposed to be Raven vs. Hardy. Raven vs. Abyss (Dog Collar Match) This match, in MY opinion, is possibly on the same level as Roddy Piper vs. Greg Valentine from Starrcade '83. Possibly!! Raven & Sabu vs. Jeff Jarrett & Rhino Jeff Hardy vs. Abyss vs. Rhino vs. Sabu (Monster's Ball 2) This is a very unique match. All 4 guys have different styles but manage to pull it off!! Jeff Jarrett & AMW vs. Rhino & Team 3D Sabu vs. Abyss (Barbed Wire Massacre) I love this match. Lots of ring psychology, great work, nice use of the barbed wire!! There is also bons footage of Raven's scalping by James Mitchell, Shane Douglas & Vampiro. As I said all of the matches are good, especially Raven, Hardy & Abyss. Lots of blood and not a boring match anywhere on this DVD. Not disappointing at all. Worth every penny!! The cover was a bit moist and stuck the the plastic cover. While trying to straighten the cover the plastic removed strands of the photo. Looks cool but still not Grade A cover. Dvd works Wonderfully though

TNA is about the only good wrestling organization left.Remember the old ECW?TNA is close.This DVD is not for children.Thank God.There are enough cartoons on T.V. anyway.Junk matches and barbed wire,what a great thing!Sabu is the greatest ever,(maybe Terry Funk).Abyss is also a badass.Yeah,it's fake,and they already picked the winner,but watch this and tell me you'd f- with Sabu.Cheers TNA!!
