I've purchased these units before & wanted to cut the cable cord on my older analog tv sets. It may have been in ad description, but didn't realize until after arriving that without remote the converter box alone is useless. The old one I owned before had function buttons on the unit itself. This order arrived on time, and in clean basic shape for a used converter, so I don't have any major complaints, other than I pray I never misplace the remote...whew!

This converter unit is nothing fancy but gets the job done. It's great for the older TVs( like mine) that have regular RF wire connections but lack HDMI or USB connects. This was the original unit I got when stations were required to switch from analog to digital signals and held up well. My purchase was to replace my original unit that appears to have suffered internal damage after being dropped on the floor. What I like most about this unit is that it will show you what is coming on in the coming hours. My other RCA box does not have that option.
