Actually it's not me that really reviews it, it's the birds and they do go to it. HB's are very aggressive to each other and it's good to have 2 different types for them to choose from so they don't get in each others way. It doesn't seem to attract bees which is good at this time of the year of Fall when a lot of them are kicked out of the nest and the hornets have to winter over. So all in all it works, not until I put these up did I realize how HB's are out there in NJ.

The hummingbirds will not eat from this feeder. I'm not sure why. I removed the older feeder they have loved for years and thought I could force the little guys to eat from this new feeder. Hasn't worked yet and they've flown all around it. One or two will land but immediately leave the feeder without eating. I keep the feeder clean with fresh food every 2 to 3 days. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Got this to replace a cinch type bottle feeder that had to be filled and inverted to hang which resulted in leakage. This is a top loader and couldn’t be easier. Didn’t have any action the first week up so I painted the flower ports yellow and the; they started coming. I plan on adding a second feeder next summer. Great value!

This feeder is not filled by the upside down bottle method, so filling, and cleaning, are much easier. I was having an issue with hornets and wasps chasing off the humminbirds, but with this feeder, the insects cannot get the nectar, and have given up trying, leaving the hummers to feed in peace. The clear bottom half makes it easy to see how much nectar is left in it, as well. Lastly, Aspects guarantees this feeder from breakage, which is a nice added advantage over other feeders.
