The batteries were OK for installation in a UPS on arrival; the device topped-off the ... The batteries were OK for installation in a UPS on arrival; the device topped-off the charge in about a day and will keep them floating and ready for service, I will probably test them (discharge to drain) in a week or so. Word to the wise: consider wiping a very very light amount in a thin layer of dielectric or conductive grease on the battery terminals prior to installation. Just a very thin smear, nothing more.
