I have installed the unit as far as the outside installation requirements. The hardest part is pounding an 8' grounding rod in to the ground. I'm 66 yrs. old and did it in 15 minutes with a 5 lb. sledge hammer.. Also, after running the cable to the house, I ran short on length. I had to order more cable as to insure the repeater would not be subject to outside weather and installed inside the house. 32' of cable did not work in my case. I ordered another 25' of cable M//F cable ends and should be good to go. Haven't used it yet as the rain in my area is preventing the final install, but I'm sure it will work fine. I'm only a mile away from my cell tower provider, and still I receive dropped calls frequently due to signal interuption. Hope this cures it. If not I will go with another provider that this product works with. Read full review

The signal booster worked at one end of our house, moving from 1 bar to 2 or 3. At the other end of the house within range of the cable, where I needed to outlet, there was no improvement in signal, even though there was only a difference of about 60ft. The line to the tower, through a wooded area, was unchanged. I can't understand how a shift of only 60 feet, with the same unobstructed line to the tower, could register such a change. From the "good" end of the house, the transmitter could not change the poor reading where my apartment is, some 60ft away. So I can't say the device didn't work; it just didn't work in apparently identical conditions where I wanted the transmitter to be in effective range of my phone.

Had really bad reception at home! Got me a case for iPhone 7 plus that had me on no service all the time, installed the ext antenna on old Direct tv mount over roof and the repeater over kitchen cabinets by running a power extension there, now with the case and all I'm getting 3 bars everywhere it was a no service before. I'm so happy I got this! Just wished the cable was longer. But it works! Find out your frequency first by contacting your cell provider, mine was 850. Don't think the higher the better! It needs to be what your provider signal uses. Highly recommend it.

We had 0-1 bar of voice signal, could not make a phone call, could not send texts, and now we can make voice calls and send texts with no problem at all. We have full bars of voice signal and intermittent data enough to pull down emails, send/receive iMessages and pull down a Facebook feed without pictures downloading. This was needed for emergency use when the power goes out so at least we can actually make calls, that’s the main thing. So yes I’m happy with it. It’s frustrating we can’t get a good data signal and I wish it could be boosted more, I wonder if that’s possible? The aerial is mounted high, that’s important, I dot up on the roof. Maybe if I used a pole and got it higher? That’s my next thing to try. Definitely happy with it so far. 👍👍👍👍👍
