I first heard this collection on a two record Kapp Recording. The year was 1969 or 1970 and I was a HS Senior. I had already decided to pursue a singing career and found these songs and their smooth upper baritone renditions becoming a particular strong influence. By the summer of 1970, I had teamed up with a pianist as was appearing Friday and Saturday nights at The Old Water Wheel Inn, on 611, In Doylestown, PA. By 1978, I had appeared in the National Broadway Tour of "Grease" and had a National Commercial running for Burger King as a teenage HS Doo-Wop singer. I was earning my living as a singer/actor. Thanks Jack! You gave me a heck of a shot in the arm. Your the best!

I bought this because this artist sings my parents "Song" and I am using it in a presentation for their upcoming 50th anniversary. I will give them this CD as well. I just know they are going to love it!!
