Only sealed 3 items so far, no long term use/durability can be claimed. Unit in appearance is sleek and nicely finished. Corners snap down snug and lock with precision. Function buttons are a bit sensitive and seem to engage soon as your hand gets close to them. Suction is slower, but steady. Draws and seals nicely with no help. You can press on center of lid to assist the process (as some state) but did not find it necessary, so far. For the money? No regrets and it's a nice unit. I like it. Only had a large jar of beans. Made ham and beans in small crock. Placed the other half of jar into 2' x 2" ice cube trays. Froze tray, removed frozen bean cubes, vacuum sealed with this little bad boy. Thaw when needed. Worked great. Recommend product.

A lot of trial and error have gone into learning how to use the Nutrichef vacuum sealer. First, if you don't cut the bag completely straight you won't be able to line it up for a Vacuum seal, so I bought the quart and gallon bags which does help.

Bought used unit. Love everything about it. Works great and has the option of sealing only or vacuuming and sealing. No hands needed, just make sure that you get the lid snapped shut good.

Works very well. It's easy to use and store. The price was great!

Seems to work great, just make sure both ends latch properly. Sometimes hard to close both ends. I just "slam" from the middle and it works good.
