About this product
Product Information
During his seven year tenure on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Tracy Morgan rose from relative obscurity into the limelight, ultimately leaving the show to spearhead his own sitcom. This collection of his best work showcases his abundant talent with the hilarious antics that brought him to fame. The characters making appearances include Astronaut Jones, Dominican Lou, Woodrow the Homeless Man, and everyone's favorite, Brian Fellow and his Safari Planet. Morgan and Jim Breuer play former porn stars who now work in an office in one over-the-top skit, and there is a side-splitting parody of Harry Belafonte, as well as a little "Pimp Show," to round out the bill. The extras, which are as good as the material on the feature, include a hilarious blooper reel, a dress rehearsal sketch, and two appearances on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN.
Why I love Tracy Morgan, and just can't get enough!
Since moving to the East coast almost three years ago, I have had to forgo television shows that start an hour later than I am used to. I've missed many shows because I'm already sleeping, but none do I miss more than Satuday Night Live. The only thing keeping from losing sleep over it (no pun intended) is that Tracy Morgan is no longer a performer for this comedic masterpiece. No worries though-- I now have his "Best Of" DVD. I can get my Tracy fix any time I want! He's a genius when he's channeling Brian Fellow. I only wish there were more Brian Fellow sketches. All in all, he keeps me laughing like only Tracy can. The DVD is a great way to see sketches from past years before so many wonderful cast members passed the torch to the newbies. In fact, Rachel Dratch and others make this an enjoyable DVD-- and I don't even have to stay up late to watch it!Read full review
