If you're wanting to have the luxury of taking a hot soak on demand without spending thousands of dollars on a bulky, heavy, traditional hot tub- the Intex Spa is the clear choice. Setting it up was super simple, and we've been enjoying it daily over the past few weeks since we've had it. It is surprisingly very comfy to sit in and the bubble jets are pretty vigorous, which was also a nice surprise. It is extremely sturdy and fits right in with our back patio furniture. We also bought the seats and spa light that Intex offers to heighten the experience- both purchases were also fantastic. Six adults will definitely fit, which is great for parties. Three to four adults is our number for a more relaxing experience. As we've gotten to know the spa more, there are a few things that are worth noting that may differ from a traditional hot tub... The heater takes a while to heat the water- about 1.2 F/ hour for us with ambient temperature between 60 and 75. It does a pretty good job at maintaining the heat when the cover is on, but as more people pile in we notice the temperature drops more quickly. The jets take in ambient air, so the longer you have those running, the more quickly the temperature will drop also. If you're planning on using the spa often and with large groups, it would be useful to have a propane-powered tankless water heater next to the tub to act as a 'supercharger' for heating the water. Our set up heats the water about 1-2 F/ minute, which also saves on electricity! Lastly, the light-colored flooring allows you to see any sediments that spa-goers have brought in the hot tub, so to keep the water crystal clear, we find ourselves suctioning out sediment pretty often, as the filter closest to the head unit seems to be the only one pulling in water, albeit very softy. The second filter seems to just trap particulates that float past it, but does not have any noticeable suction. Overall, this is a fantastic product. It's portable, it's economical, and it still feels luxurious. The few features that this spa lacks in comparison to traditional hot tubs is well made up for in the savings. We've been having a blast with it and highly recommend to anyone wanting to treat themselves without spending a fortune!Read full review

It works as advertised and was easy to set up (sort of) but here's some things to think about: 1) the drawings in the assembly instructions are small sometimes difficult to interpret, 2) the water jets are so powerful and loud that quiet conversation or listening to music is difficult (and no way to adjust the power), 3) while heating there is a constant hum that I can hear outside and in my house when there is no other noise to obscure it, 4) it only heats to 104F and when you take the cover off the temp drops to 101F in a few minutes which is pleasant but not hot enough to suit me, 5) big enough for 4 people but 6 would be tight, and 6) it took 38 hours to get from 66F to 104F (can't wait to see my power bill). With adjustable bubble power, a better heater, and a higher maximum temp this would be awesome.Read full review

This is not the 1st inflatable spa tub I've had. It has a 12 month warranty, is made of good quality, easy to set up, and wonderful to sit in....the pictures are as I 1st set it up, before I added the optional "bench" around it. I'm a big fan of Intex....

A little larger in diameter but lower in height! Dark brown color may attract heat and expansion while in the sun, Time will till! I really don’t think 6 adults can comfortable sit together in this spa! Purchased to replaced older smaller pure spa that started leaking air! Pool pumps and connector are both the same for both spa.... so I continued to used older pool pump!

Completely happy with this hot tub. Gets just hot enough to enjoy during the summer. We bought the 6 man tub. Plenty of room to stretch out and float. The side walls are surprisingly strong and you can actually sit on them. Comfortable to sit as well. For a inflatable tub for the money you can't go wrong! Be sure to buy the light that goes on the inside. Helps for night time soaks.
