As I said the series returns to prove that they are indeed the king of motorcycle racing. Till this day, no one has managed to make a better cycle racing game. This one doesn't offer to much of a difference from the past titles, but the thing that is true is that they didn't change the thing that made this game known to begin with, which is the awesome racing mechanics. True, I don't like this game nearly as much as say, PGR 3, but thats ok because I honestly think this game could stand on its own without being compared to another racing game, especially one that involves cars rather than cycles. This game pulls off all the right tricks as far as realistic racing mechanics with awesome online play as well as beautiful graphics to match. But thats another thing, the graphics on the Xbox were so damn impressive that I didn't think they can get much better, but they did. Though I expected a little bit more of an improvement they are still gorgeous to relish in. And you mainly notice the improvement in the graphics when you watch the replays because then they show you every angle of the bike and the rider. And though its not a very easy racing game, you will eventually get the hang of it and begin to win races. Don't steer away from it the first time playing because this game brings alot to the table and gives you an experience with bikes that only the MotoGP series offersRead full review
I own several of the MotoGP series games for both the original Xbox and the 360. This one is now one of my favorite along with the beloved first release of MotoGP back in 2002. Not only do you get the MotoGP bikes and riders from the 2006 season, you also get the bikes, riders, and liveries from the 2005 season WITHOUT having to pay extra to download the content from x-box live! You start out your first season as you normally do in the MotoGP series, on an underpowered bike with slow steering and wooden brakes. You gain experience bike performance features by overcoming certain training obstacles, completing technical sections of tracks, and of course by finishing well in actual races. You gain season points, experience points and increase your ranking with each successive race. You unlock bikes, Extreme riders, and tracks as you go through the season. With each race, you go faster, turn better, and accelerate and brake harder and harder. This version is (I believe) the last version of the game made by Climax studios. They do the best job at simulating an on-track experience aboard a motorcycle. If you get too ham-fisted with the controls, the excellent physics will have you tumbling down the track and into the gravel-traps in no time. The other feature which is amazingly fun, is drifting the 600cc extreme bikes around the road circuits. With the right technique, you can lay huge long patches of rubber into the corners with the throttle pinned! The only downside are the slow load times between screens, it can take as long as a minute to load a race, a practice, qualifier or experience/credit screen. This is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.Read full review

If you have ever ridden or wanted to own or ride a motorcycle, this is the digital experience of doing so. I have played the ASIAN/region free version of this game, (which I sell in my auctions at much cheaper than what you can get in the us). While I will say this one focuses more on the Japanese/ "Crotch Rocket" variety of bikes, it still manages to get accurate handling physics and turning downpat. Overall, you can't really get a good opinion from any of these reviews for this game, you need to play it to see if you like it. It is an accustomed taste. Be aware, this is no Gran Turismo. You will fall off the bike a lot. You will wreck into other bikers and hurt your rider and bike. You will need to repair your bike. But, once you get the hang of t, this is a very solid title that I am pretty sure you will love. Overall, if it interests you, buy it, you'll be glad you did.Read full review
I got this game for a great price, and im happy i got it. Even though i only played it for about 2 hours alltogether, it was enjoyable, fun and made me feel like it was a real race. The graphics are amazing, even on my crappy 27 in tv it looked almost real. The detailed bikes are superb. Environments are rich and detailed, the drivers themselves look pretty cool, even though they never take their helmets off. Season mode is fun, a bit too easy on rookie mode but it takes time to get used to handling a bike, since it is much harder to drive and control than a normal race car or an f1. But after you get the hang of it, you'll enjoy it and want to keep playing(unlike me who plays too much cod3,damn). If you're a fan of racing games, it's a must buy or rent. Cant go wrong with this game.
