The mailbox is exactly as pictured, made of hard, heavy duty plastic and very sturdy. I was expecting it to come in one piece however, it has to be put together. It was easy to assemble and came with the hardware. My only concern is the handle/knob is made of plastic also and it doesn't seem like it will hold up to long term use, but it can be taken off and a metal knob screwed into it place for more wear and tear. Overall this item is well worth the price and it is very pretty. I would definetly recommend this item. **** shipping was very fast, we were given a tracking number but it was delivered within a few days of my order placement.
