The short nose on these seats really helps take the load off the sensitive male ... The short nose on these seats really helps take the load off the sensitive male parts. It is a firm seat for me, an old guy who likes comfort. ISM does have seats with more padding, they cost more. I ride 12 miles on a mountain bike every week, year round. I'm 64, I don't ride aggressively but this seat works well for me. I'm still adjusting height and angles, and it gets better with every ride.
