Barbell is hollow. The weights are good though. The pins keep coming out no matter how many times you flush them with hammer.

Ok I have the Golds Gym (CAP Barbell) brand combined with a couple of sets of Marcy Vinyl weight set. And like other reviews get a solid std 1” bar a 7’, 6’ or 5’ solid bar they will work I have all 3 bars. The 2pc bar it comes with don’t use it the clip collars if you have problems with them keeping a clap don’t complain! Put them in a vice and get the plyers and pull one end the opposite way so when you use the clips they would keep the plate in place. I’ve used these vinyl cement weights for about 11yrs and still use them. Iron plates are fine but working out with cement weights is good for home gym workouts but the price should be more less like $65 and the dumbbell set around $14 or $16 not this $80 to $200 . But I’m happy with my set up after all these years 👍🏼

Bar was entirely to flexible when all weights are secured to it. Bar needs to be of heavier gauge to support the weights. Total cost was $244.00 - entirely to costly. If it weren't for the Covid 19 pandemic this set would not be worth purchasing for more than $49.99!!!!!
