I purchased a Blemish Berkey. I did not find any problems with the finish. No blemishes or dents. BEWARE. I read on another site that the Berkey can be washed in dishwasher. I washed the Berkey by hand and wanted to be sure that it was rinsed properly. I ran a rinse cycle in my dishwasher before I put the Berkey in then I ran the Berkey through a short rent cycle. the Berkey came out really cloudy so I ended up having to shine it with a cloth to get the cloudiness off.
