    This is a great collection of the awesome songs Marvin Gaye recorded over the years... He had so many #1 songs and top #10. They are all here! The only song I wish had been included in this set, is the hit "Take This Heart of Mine"! Other than that, I love it!

    Fore runner of Maxwell, Usher, Chris Brown, and Neo-EXCELLENT!

    This disc set is an excellent manner in which to introduce younger music lovers to the magic known as "Marvelous Marvin," Mr. Marvin Gaye. As a child I remember older teens blasting his music from their "record players" in the back yard. Later in life, his songs became the conscious of America with pieces like "Mercy Mercy Me" and "What's Going On." Music like "Let's Get It On" and "Got To Give It Up," have remained staples in terms of their avant guard flavor. Thank you so much for keeping his music alive, and helping younger ones to see that artists like Maxwell, Usher, Chris Brown, and Neo, had a blueprint.

    SOULFUL VOICE AND ANTHEM SONGS FROM A CONFLICTED ERA

    Listening to this CD reminded me of how much we have come full circle since Nixon. It is a very complete, (2 cd), set of the songs of Marvin Gaye. This set captures one of the richest voices of the music industry and the backing tracks are nearly orchestra-like. Very, Very Good, timeless and endlessly entertaining!

    Gold by Marvin Gaye

    I love this CD!! It has some of Marvin Gaye's Best hits on it. I've always liked the Motown hits, and Motown music. That's what you'll get with this CD. Marvin has the type of music that can be played continually... low in the background, or up loud.Either way it's not distracting, just good music to listen to. I'm glad I bought it!
