In an effort to finish the original series by Frank Herbert I purchased this novel on half.com because of the price and condition of this item. For a hardback edition it was a great deal and the item was received in excellent time. It was a wonderfully captivating story that I found very hard to put down and the story, despite this being the fourth installment of the series, did not get old. This was due to the plot which takes place 3500 years after the first three books in the series. The Dune Chronicles have come full circle in this enticing story that follows the God Emperor Leto Atreides as he commits himself to his role on "The Golden Path." Once again you will be left wanting nothing more than to find out more about life in Frank Herbert's world in the follow up novel "Heretics of Dune."Read full review
The book advertised was the hardback with the Bruce Pennington artwork cover. That is the book in all the photographs, that is the book i wanted and that is the book i paid for. It is not the book i got. Very disappointed. Stuff like this ruins online shopping...
