This PSU tester arrived quickly, intact and in working order. Pushing the power button on your computer only have it just sit there and do nothing is disconcerting to say the least. With it you can test all of your PSU connections to see if they are live or not. Instructions are printed right on the unit so you can't lose them. Great little gadget for any computer enthusiast.

Ensure your power supply is working without extra connections
Great way to easily check if your power supply is up to snuff. Note, modern power supplies generally do NOT provide the -5 volts so that light WILL stay off. Doesn't mean the supply is bad or tester not working.

Had to test 3 power supply 500w + Had a expensive motherboard fail and had to check them out. I am a 40+ yr tech and have upgraded and built many computers. It worked very well also can check older PSWs

Tester works to test power supply
The tester works as advertised. I was able to troubleshoot the problem with my computer failing to boot up. The only thing I wish this had would be a connector for an SATA power connector. But I didn't need one for this troubleshooting episode. The device is compact and appears to be well made.

Works great. I used it on a known good PSU and all of the lights functioned as expected. It's nerve wracking to push the power button on your computer and nothing happens. Armed with this tester you can quickly diagnose the PSU. All necessary instructions are printed right on the unit.
