The Simmons 8-Point Scope for a rifle has design features that benefit casual and strategic hunters. In the wild, the process of hitting a target is easier after this accessory is installed on a gun because it has a unique reticle. The technology within the reticle is called Truplex; this feature speeds up typical aiming procedures in a wilderness setting. If something is several yards away, the aiming component in the gadget can lock on the target fast and efficiently. Your aim won’t suffer after this product is placed on a heavy-duty weapon. As you fire a shot from a high-velocity rifle while looking through this accessory, recoil is never an issue. Foggy weather doesn’t decrease performance either. The Simmons riflescope has a fogproof coating that increases target acquisition by blocking fog around the field of view.Since this 3-9x50 mm optics tool has a matte black design, it blends well with many modern accessories. The magnification settings are printed next to the eyepiece, so using the scope after it’s installed isn’t hassle. On the rim of the rotating knob, there is a three-, five-, seven-, eight-, and nine-range setting. This knob is attached to a long tube that runs to the end of the housing. Great optics.
I used this on a 22-250 and was surprised at the clarity of the lens. You can see the holes in the target clearly at 100 yards making it super easy to sight-in with no distortion whatsoever. Needless to say it is a great low light optic as well with the big 50 mm objective lens. Big, easy adjustment knobs. Precise!

good range and plinking scope at a 100yrds
i bought this product because it was a good buy with good ratings.works real good at the range have tried several scopes and Simmons works really well on the recoil compared to others. i like the knobs on the elevation,right and left without using a tool or a penny to turn them. the lens has a clear view when you look thru them. i always aligned and centered the scope before i get to the range at about 75 yards, however shooting at 100 yards i needed to adjust them several clicks to the left. was not sure if it was my bore sight or the scope but it is still holds a good zero on the scope to use to plink around. will be looking at another simmons scope with a better range and see how it holds up going at least 500- 1000 rounds. this simmons scope so far held up to about 500-800 rounds compared to others scopes elevation, right to left adjustments failed on the same amount of rounds put thru them. maybe some day they would put better rotation knobs with numbers on them without the covers.Read full review

Great quality
Very good quality scope vs. price. I mounted it on my Vepr 7.62x39 and it looks great, very bright scope and eye relief is fantastic. I will say that the finish is good but I am noticing that the cheap included scope covers will actually scratch the finish if your not careful as they are made of very hard plastic.

Excellent Scope for whitetail deer hunting.
I have 2 of these scopes 1 is on a Savage Axis and 1 on a Browning BAR. Both are 30:06 Caliber. I have found this scope to always do the job. Great optics 0 to 200 yards and both have never lost their integrity or accuracy. I strongly recommend this scope to any whitetail hunter especially when shooting area is within a 200 yard point of view. I have had great success with both rifles and both scopes.
