Coming from a Samsung s8 which I really liked, the OnePlus 6 blows out of the water. It's smoother, faster, more responsive, and just looks better overall. the only negative I had is that when I received the phone, the battery had already lost 10% of its overall life according to Accubattery. Still, I only charge my phone to 80% and it gives me 10 or 11 hours of screen time and I'm usually left with anywhere between 10 and 20% at the end of the day. I would say that's not too shabby. I love this phone and it would take something special for me to ever move away from the OnePlus brand again!

The One Plus One arrived used, but like new with a few minor scratches. It was packaged very well by hand for shipping. It is an incredibly fast phone. I was switching from a Moto X Pure (~2015), so the performance increase was wonderful. There are a lot of small features that are part of Oxygen OS that I didn't know about that were pleaseant surprises for when I started using the device. Things like the one screen volume adjustment displays on the left side of the screeen and the power, lock, and screenshot options display on the right. Other features for specific apps, like while on Youtube, minimizing to the home screen keeps the youtube video playing as a thumbnail that you can flick around while you find the next app you want to launch. When you tap back on the thumbnail video it opens again in YouTube. The extra thought in these things makes for a very relaxing user experience. There are many, many options for customizing every aspect of the phone, like hiding the top notch, using gesture based navigation, or auto-enabling blue light reduction at night. For the first time, I have found a phone that has non-jarring ringtones and alarm music. So I can finally wake up in the morning to relaxing alarm tracks that don't give me anxiety when I am trying to get out of deep sleep. Of course, it goes without mentioning that the phone is fast. It games very well for what you are likely to play on it. All the 2D games were lightning quick. Didn't have a chance to do any 3D gaming yet, but I am sure that the Snapdragon 845 can handle it well. The battery life on this device is ridiculous. It can last the whole day playing youtube videos almost non-stop. Another thing that surprised me was the screen stays cool to the touch. I am assuming the new panel tech (AMOLED), has something to do with it. The colors are great. Blacks are true black and the dynamic range is excellent. The camera takes very, very good photos in practical, day to day scenarios. The portrait mode has a really cool bokea filter mode that looks great (actual photos taken are attached). Zero complaints. This is a fantastic phone!Read full review

An amazing phone, especially for the price you can get it now. One of the best phones to still have a headphone jack and a physical fingerprint reader (The 6T does not). Keep in mind that if you use the phone a lot the battery will likely run out before the end of the day, especially on older phones, but for me, only having the screen on a few hours per day, it usually is about right, almost empty at night.

OnePlus is known for making *flagship killers* aka phone with near flagship specs for mid range prices. I think the 6 and the 6t though may be the last of its kind as the 7 and the forthcoming 7 plus are going to be closer to flagship prices.
