Bought this item used for the man cave. Considering that I already own one of these, the decision was easy. So far so good. Great power to push Klipsch RF towers, with Klipsch quintet surround, then added powered subwoofer. Onkyo never disappoints.

I bought this unit used without the set-up microphone or the remote. It was very simple to set up and target the speakers even without mic and remote. The only downside is the channel 2 speakers only work with analog inputs and don't get a signal from the hdmi inputs.... I can live with that!

I used to repair electronics for about 14 years and Onkyo is by far one of the best built receivers on the market, they use heavy transformers, have oversize capacitors and great THD signal to noise ratio.They rate tru power output not output including the noise floor. This is my 4th Onkyo receiver, I bought this to go with my OPPO 4k blueray player and my Toshiba 4k tv. My old receivers did not pass the 4k content. Very easy to set up.
It plays music direct from a USB drive and also from a smart phone! Great sound and On Screen TV display to aid in setup. It's a great buy.
