The fact that Mr. Eastwood chose to present the story from each member's perspective, to hire the performer/actors from the stage, and to create a new genre of biographic/drama/musical is a testament to his brilliance as a director. The minor alterations were created for increased intensity, while not distracting from the overall story. The dialogue is dynamic and true to the era, as well as to the personality of each character. Anyone who loves the doo-wop sound of the 60's will watch this more than once.

Saw the Stage show and was blown away. Didn't know the story of the band or Band members but it made for a great character study and it comes with built in soundtrack and explains how circumstances created the music. I wasn't totally grilled with the actor picked for Franki Valli but he's acceptable. Being a fan of the stage show I was skeptical about it transferring to the big screen but Clint Eastwood did a fantastic job! He truly is one of the best directors (and actors) of our time. I was really pleased with the End Titles Sequence. But Eastwood is a musician too. Not everyone likes the four seasons music and thats to bad, but the film stands on it's own
Great movie brings back great memories

I like it, but the better half fell asleep part way through the movie. Not sure she liked it or was overly tired. I’m guessing overly tired.
