Was my first time today using an RMR, but I found it relatively easy to get use to. I was at an indoor range which made it easy to sight in since I could take a few shots at 25 yds. and bring the target in to see the group and make the necessary adjustments, then run the target back out to verify the poa was coinciding with the poi. went thru 250 rds. and maintained its zero. 7, 10, and 15 yds. was not even a challenge, ate the paper out of the center of the targets. I was concerned that since there is no adjustment on the MRO1 that I wouldn't be able to reduce the size of the dot for better accuracy but I am totally happy with my groups and glad I didn't spend the extra money. Made for an enjoyable range day, glad I took the leap to a red dot, now I see why they are so popular.

It's hard to find a better red dot sight than the Trijicon RMR, but be aware that the RM01 Type 1 does not have an on/off switch. The battery can stay on continually for 1 year before needing to be replaced, so it's better to keep it off and then screw it in when you're ready to use it. If your primary use is home defense, this is not the red dot for you.

I was afraid that 3.25 MOA dot would be too large, but it is perfect for adding to a pistol platform and even as a backup to an ACOG or other magnified sight. Excellent Trijicon quality and feels very rugged. Held zero after repeated testing. Price has come way down too. Highly recommended.
