This worked very well in my 2005 Silverado. So much so, that I went ahead and replaced all of the stepper motors while I had the dash out of the vehicle. It's not a trivial installation so I suggest you watch the many U-Tube videos on it. Be sure to mark with tape the location of the dials BEFORE you take them off the spindle (I didn't and it took about 3 shots to get the dials correct). It's a MUST DO. Good value and good product.

The stepper motors worked great, and were easy enough to install. The little solder solder worked great too. The LEDs require quite a bit of modification to work. The soldering iron started smoking and just about burst into flames when I plugged it in. Luckily I caught it, unplugged it and threw it in the trash.

The product is of decent quality. The kit should have 1 more stepper motor and 1 or 2 lights for a GM truck. The toughest part is synchronizing them. If there is a procedure they suggest instructions would be appreciated I'm sure.

Product is exactly as described. This is not the first dash I have repaired and not likely to be the last. I will buy this again. IF you are confident at automotive repair and have good soldering skills, this is a great product. Otherwise you might want to pay a professional to do it.

Good product, soldering iron is at little more then needed so be careful when soldering on board. 40 watt suggested as highest rec’d 50 watt. I have several irons so I used one that’s adjustable. If you have never soldered have someone else do the soldering. also if you have a problem with messaging part send cluster to a pro and have them rebuild your cluster.
