The 5700xt from AMD is better value, but I have a G-Sync monitor, so I had to go Nvidia. This is the cheapest 2070 super I found when I bought it, but it isn't bad. The fans are quite loud, but if you have good airflow in your case, you can set a quieter fan curve to mitigate this issue. With a Fractal Design Meshify C, 2x140mm intake fans at the front, and 1x120mm exhaust fan at the back, the card hits 74C at 100% load at stock. At first I was hitting 77C, but I moved one of my intake fans down as low as I could so more air could access the GPU, and that reduced temps by 3C. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but there seems to be a good amount of thermal headroom. Overall, this is a good value card.
