Screen size is just right, larger than the Google Nexus it replaced, making it surprisingly much easier to use. The fingerprint reader works well. Camera is better than our Canon. Everything else works just fine. No complaints. It is a bit heavier than my previous phone, but for me that is not an issue.

The battery is no better than the one I had, there is a problem with the screen it's burned in at least once or three times a day I need to reboot the phone to recognize the SIM card much happier with my old phone ready to switch back.

Don't let the price, age, or form factor fool you. This is a legit phone in every sense. While it will never compete with the Pixels and Galaxy S' of the world, it all boils down to how much phone you really need. Easy to hold in one hand, fits in your pocket (it's not phablet sized), and all the way up to date with Android P. Only knock against it is lack of adaptable storage (you can still use MicroSD cards, just not for apps. Content only!). Still, at sub-120 (sub-100 if you find a deal like I did) this is a no brainier if you need a reliable daily driver.

Compared with the iPhone 8, the Moto X4 has a larger display, a higher-resolution display, more RAM, expandable storage, much more battery capacity, and a higher resolution camera. Sure, the processor is slightly slower, but that's never been a limiting factor for me. It's also half the cost of the iPhone, but I still would have selected the Moto X4 even if the phone were the same price.

This phone is actually an upgrade from my previous Moto G6 Play, with the only exception being the battery is slightly smaller. The reason I got the Moto X4 was actually to install LineageOS which is not currently available for the G6 Play. Very happy with the phone so far, the only downside of this phone is the fingerprint sensor is on the front instead of integrated with the Motorola logo on the back like the G6 Play. Otherwise a great phone for under $200. Personally I wouldn't pay the $250 price tag this phone goes for on Amazon new, so Ebay is probably the best place to find this phone at a decent price.
