Great speakers! Excited to use them. They have a small hum while powered up, sitting idle, and volume above 50%, but the hum is drowned out once music starts. I would have given 5 stars on the item description, but the inner packaging around one of the speakers was full of what looked like buck shot, spilled all over when unpackaging the speaker. That being said, the seller, idjnow, shipped quickly and provided outstanding customer service when contacting them. I give them 5 stars.

QSC GX3 is a great amp , lots of power. Compare to the so called audiophile amps and you will be amazed. It sounds every bit as good as any of them in it's class. I never looked at these amps because I thought thy were inferior in quality. I was very wrong, this amp sounds loud crisp and clear at all musical ranges. I have a pair of LFT 3 by Eminent technology, very revealing and accurate speakers and can handle about 500w each. The sound is superb very detailed and clear. The amp i cooled by a fan that some find to be a bit loud, you can replace it with a quiet computer fan for about $10. You can spend $1000 to $5000 or more on a so called audiophile amp in the same class and if you put the two side by side you will have a hard time understanding where the thousands of $$ difference ... Awesome power and clarity
I purchased this amplifier to replace the standard amp for two Klipsch 15 inch subwoofers in my home theater setup. This amp is amazing. Clear and powerful. More than ample power for my use, actually probably overkill. The features on this amp are also a big plus. It provides a built in crossover as well as xlr and rca inputs. The power output is excellent and has a speaker clipping warning indicator on the front panel. The only downside is the fans on the back of the unit are fairly loud, but can easily be replaced with small pc fans that near silent. The fan noise is only a problem at low volume. The QSC GX-3 amplifier is a clean and powerful amp that offers legendary QSC quality on a budget. I've been using the GX-3 as a 2-channel monitor amp for live gigs running 4-5hrs per night. I've also employed its big brother (the GX-5) as a mains amp in the same setup. This amp is flawless, clean, and simple to use. With multiple inputs to accomodate XLR, 1/4" and RCA, you can use this amp in many ways. The GX-3 also utilizes QSC protection by shutting down in case of thermal overload. (never had it happen). Another feature of this and all the GX series amps is a builtin crossover to use channel 1 as a high-pass and channel 2 as a low pass. Great for a top box/subwoofer setup. Verdict: Great amp. Its a QSC what more can I say, this is my third amp from them. I love the other two and use them in a DJ setup. This works great at our local little league field and I still haven't had any trouble with any product from them. Great sound and true wattages stated ,easy to understand instructions. Highly recommend these amps.
