I feel this is a good book for the beginner in that it shows some good basic procedures. Then it takes a leap into areas that may lead some beginners shaking their heads. Is it a good value? It depends on the price. The price for this book varies widely on the internet...must do your homework on this part.

Simple basics of drawing that are easy to follow.
I got back in to coloring and drawing when my mother was sick with Lung cancer. She recently passed away and I find it very therapeutic and calming. This book is very easy to understand. It includes numerous pictures that help you understand more about the basics of drawing. I really enjoy what I have read and experienced with this book. I would buy other products from these authors. I consider it a very instructive and great buy for myself.
