ZuPreem Parakeet Fruit Blend Food
I'm fairly new to keeping Parakeets as Pets, and after reading that there are certain nutrients and vitamins that they can receive from fruits & vegetables that their everyday seed mixture can't provide, I decided to try ZuPreem Parakeet Fruit mix. While ZuPreem makes this mix for larger birds, I made sure to choose the parakeet size bits. I added a tablespoon full of it as a treat once a week to supplement their diet and they loved it so much that it disappeared within minutes. After about a month and a half, I can see my birds have grown quite a bit, their plumage colors seem a little brighter, and they've become very interactive and not the least bit lethargic. It seems to have perked them up and helped to have put them in top health and happy.
