Still relevant in 1440p and amazing at 1080p ultra for around 150-200dollars.

The vega 56 is still a relevant card at the right price, the best price for this is around 150-200dollars used if you can find it around that its a steal. (2020 Jan) If you are not comfortable buying used see the RTX 2060 or 5600 XT for comparable performance. The vega 56 has HBM2 Memory which is most cases is about the same as GDDR6 for gaming however the HBM2 excels in advanced computing tasks. With that said the vega 56 falls behind the new 5600 XT in performance out of the box and considering most cases the vega 56 will be cheaper second hand than a new 5600 XT it is a good alternative. You can undervolt or overclock the vega 56 and tweak it to surpass the 5600 XT in performance. the vega 56 is also faster than the 1660 ti/super and comparable to the RTX 2060 but at a much cheaper ...

  • Great value for the performance!

This is probably the best value in graphics cards right now! You get amazing performance at 1080p and at 1440p for half the price of other cards out there. Downside it's a blower card, BUT with good case cooling it's never loud at all. Best part is this model comes with Samsung Memory and can be flashed to a Vega 64 bios for even better performance! It's such a good value I upgraded 2 systems with these cards and couldn't be happier!

  • As excepted, still overpriced.

Still a bit high on price for performance compared to Nvidia cards, but I went with a Freesync monitor. Over all happy with the build quality from Powercolor. No coil whine. I was unlucky on the HMB2 lottery and received a card with Hynix and not Samsung. I have under volted the card, runs well. About a 50% increase in FPSecond over my previous r9 290x.

  • Great card for the $300 paid.

I purchased this card while on sale for $300. It performs exceptionally well for 1080p 144hz with ultra settings. I was able to undervolt and OC the card, keeping temps below 63c and fan RPM never goes over 55%. With those settings, I can't hear them while under load with a headset on. For the price I snagged on, fantastic option!

  • For enthusiasts, it will provide hours of enjoyment and at $300 was definitely the best value.

What can I say. For enthusiasts willing to tinker, it will provide hours of enjoyment and you can squeeze as much performance out of it as a 1080. At $300 when I bought it, it was easily the best value for 1440p gaming, and it can handle some 4k reasonably. For those looking for out-of-the-box performance, a 1070ti or 2060 is probably a better deal. In my setup with abundant cooling, the fans often don't even need to spin up, and they've been silent when they do. The PCB and VRM is quite nice, though because it is mini the heat density is rather high. But the massive heat sink handles it well. The card is quite large, but personally I prefer the long 2-slot approach compared to the current trend of 2.5 & 3 slot cards. I actually want to use my other PCI-E slots. I also really like ...
